The location of the hotel was great, just a short walk from the beach. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious and clean. The staff, especially Joseph, was very friendly and helpful. They provided great service and made our stay enjoyable. Additionally, the hotel had a kitchen, dining area, and a small sitting area, which was a nice addition to our stay.
The breakfast options were limited and not customized to individual preferences.

I had the best time staying at Shiban House in Shela. the Swahili style architecture and decoration created a beautiful atmosphere. Joseph, the manager, was extremely helpful and showed me around, setting up activities like sunset dhow rides and visits to the takwa ruins. From the moment I arrived, Pepe, the host, made my stay even more memorable. She was friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and took me to the best local spots in Lamu town. the location is perfect, with easy access to the beach and seafront. the house itself is big, beautiful, clean, and comfortable. And the traditional breakfast served every morning was a lovely touch.

Our stay at this guest house was absolutely incredible! The house itself was stunning, with spacious and spotless rooms that provided the perfect amount of privacy. And let's not forget about the jaw-dropping view from the top balcony; it was like something out of a dream! The owners, Jack and Joseph, were the cherry on top - they were kind, reliable, and truly made us feel at home. The breakfast each morning was mind-blowing and gave us all the energy we needed for our adventures. We were so sad to leave, but we would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience.
